 DEFI, historic review
The Golf of Biscarrosse organised the first edition in 1990.
In the original version, this CHALLENGE was played in 4 balls-3 best balls with teams of 4 amateurs. Regional challenges took place and the final challenge was organized every year in Biscarrosse.
In 2001 the CHALLENGE took a new dimension and became a Pro-Am : 22 teams confronted to one another for this new version.
This competition is now in stroke play on 36 holes (18 holes per day). The teams are made of 1 pro and 3 amateurs without limitation of index. 3/4 of the index is returned with a maximum of 18 points per player. The results are given by additioning the best 2 scores per hole.
